Background
As part of a major port expansion program in the Middle East, the client required a reliable fender system to accommodate next-generation container vessels up to 20,000 DWT. The goal was to ensure safe berthing, reduce hull pressure, and extend the service life of quay structures in a high-temperature and saline coastal environment.

The terminal faces strong tidal variations, high temperatures, and frequent berthing operations involving large vessels. The existing cylindrical fenders could no longer provide sufficient energy absorption or structural stability.
